MCC Adult Education program offers self-paced, individualized classes for out-of-school adults above compulsory school age. Students can enroll any time a class is in session. Classes, books, and materials are offered free of charge to students enrolled in the program.
The GED Test covers the following subject areas:
- Language Arts – Writing
- Social Studies
- Science
- Language Arts – Reading
- Mathematics
MCC Adult Education also offers the following programs:
(ESL) English-as-a-Second Language – for adults who speak a language other than English and wish to learn to speak and write the English Language.
Basic Literacy – for adults who would like to learn to read or to improve their reading skills.
Enrichment – for students who would like to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, math, spelling, or obtain life skills such as writing resumes and filling out job applications.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE OPPORTUNITIES:
ESL – English as a Second Language is designed for non-English speakers who would like to improve their English conversation skills as well as basic reading and grammar skills.
Citizenship – Citizenship classes are for immigrants who wish to prepare for the citizenship test.
