Vision and Mission
§ My vision of myself as a high performing teacher can be simply stated.
§ I must be an exemplary role model for my students, parents, colleagues and myself. I see myself as an educator empowering my students to express themselves individually and to build on their successes as well as their failures, so that they may build a strong foundation for themselves that will last them a lifetime.
§ By understanding the challenges that my students and I face each day, I
have learned to understand challenges and creating techniques to overcome them. Together we can overcome the challenges we face each and every day.
§ Building positive relationships with my students and parents will allow me to become a high performing teacher.
§ As a high performing teacher, “attitude is everything,” My mission will be achieved by keeping a positive attitude toward my students, parents, and colleagues. Keeping positive will depend on how well I plan and develop strategies that focus on successes for everyone in my classroom. Goal setting is a big part of my curriculum.
§ Setting goals and teaching social skills to my students will allow them to work cooperatively with their peers and develop positive attitudes of themselves and others.
§ Integrating technology into my classroom and curriculum will be added to my teaching practices in several ways.
