This morning ☀︎ I woke up counting my blessings. I’m thankful for my precious kids, husband, family, friends, incredible TEAM I get to work + do life with, the beautiful place we call home and the list goes on.
But there have been days just recently I have woken up frustrated because my toddler is already crying about something at 7am, overwhelmed with my “to do” lists and stressed about this or that.
What I have been learning lately is the choice is yours. Will you count your blessings? Or will you count your wants? Will you look at all the things going right? Or will you look for the things going wrong? “If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world.
If you have money in the bank, your wallet, and some spare change you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million people who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the agony of imprisonment or torture, or the horrible pangs of starvation you are luckier than 500 million people alive and suffering.
If you can read this message you are more fortunate than 3 billion people in the world who cannot read it at all.” So my point is you can look at your glass 🥛 as half empty or half full. I chose to look at mine as running over. I am blessed, you are blessed, we live in a very blessed country. ❤️ #Perspective #GlassHalfFull #Blessed
